It probably helps our egg count, that when it is really cold out at night like last night, 16 degrees, we turn the heat lamp on. Chickens need 14 hours of daylight to be laying. But honestly, we can't seem to get rid of them!

I have been trying to be creative with the eggs. I have frozen some in muffin tins, and dehydrated some, which I haven't tried yet. and of course, I eat eggs almost every morning for breakfast.

I will check out your website!Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16924988248364848607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4068772782489043252.post-28845728615887045372011-12-06T14:23:03.717-08:002011-12-06T14:23:03.717-08:00You lucky thing, my chooks stopped laying weeks ag...You lucky thing, my chooks stopped laying weeks ago. I eventually gave up until I heard about letting the eggs sit in the fridge for a few weeks. I can once again make deviled eggs!!

I second the idea of apple butter for Christmas gifts!Carolynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14436557172029575513noreply@blogger.com
